Client: Eagle Harbor High School

Scope:  Community identity and branding for alternative public high school, Washington state.

Mission:  Create logo design that establishes the presence, the character and the distinction of a uniquely organized, 9-12 public school.

Key Insight:  As an alternative high school, EHHS represents a unique learning environment where each student is an integral part of the curriculum, a sharp contrast with the typical 30+ seat based classroom. I wanted the logo to reflect these core concepts and the close, connected relationship of this special community. Located in the Pacific Northwest, the symbols of nature and location are integral. Both the eagle and the salmon are rich symbols connoting power and skill, wisdom, knowledge and inspiration, while they are bound in nature and location. The integration of the two symbols reflects the intricate shoreline that is Bainbridge Island.
