Mission: Create logo branding and packaging for a line of gourmet popcorn.
Key Insight: Diane, my entrepreneurial client, had been making richly flavored caramel corn to give as gifts for family and friends until that fateful day she entered her mouth-watering sensation into a pool of entries featured in “Country Living” magazine. Remarkably, (homespun packaging and all), Diane's Gourmet Popcorn was selected as a finalist by the magazine's editors who fell in love with her tasty morsels. "Country Living" suggested Diane work on her branding to bring it up to the quality of her product.
Surveying the competition in the category of “organic” premium quality treats, my studio designed a standout package bursting with the flavorful color pallete and bravado of Diane's full line of flavors. The package facing also noted her use of organic, gluten-free ingredients with no trans fats, a "positioning plus."
Diane's planning and coordination regarding state and federal guidelines for product and ingredient labeling allowed to us to have her packaging ready to go anywhere the moment the opportunity arose.
