Client: Darwin’s Pet Products

Scope:  Online/National Pet Food Market (Logo)

Mission:  Design memorable identity for pet foods and other new products for dogs and cats.

Key Insight:  The trend towards ancestral pet food recipes further evolved at Brofsky Design into product identity for Darwin's Pet Products in a style that engenders a modern brand of storytelling. Central to the product facing is a fable-like, hand-carved illustration of a storybook beagle floating in a little boat as rendered by the multi-talented Hungarian artist Istvan Orosz. The design for the logo, informed by the proposed product line, aptly named “Natural Selections,” has other historical signifcance to Charles Darwin since Darwin’s research vessel to the Galapagos Islands was called the HMS Beagle.
